Ubiquiti
Ubiqiuiti is one of those companies I have a love hate relationship with. Although their hardware is incredibly simple to setup (might as well be a plug-n-play). It does not perform as well in enterprise environments compared to other offerings like Cisco Meraki. Ubiquiti hardware tends to overheat and their software crash at the most inconvenient times.
The projects I worked on involved.
Switches & Access Points
Using the ubiquiti cloudkey I deployed configurations to switches and access-points. These configurations ranged from deploying the latest encryption standards (moving away from TKIP-CCMP towards AES) to improve both security and performance. As well as deploying VLAN configurations (trunking) to isolate high risk devices.
